Reading NFL odds
The moneyline is who wins. The spread is set in points. Many games finish by 3 or 7, so a half point around those numbers matters more than anywhere else. Totals are the combined points, usually in the high 30s to 50s; wind and rain push them down.
Quarterback news and the weather move football prices the most. Most games are on Sunday, with games on Thursday and Monday nights.
The NFL season
The regular season runs from September to early January: 17 games per team over 18 weeks, then a single-elimination playoff that ends in the Super Bowl.
Forecasts, not promises
A team at 65% still loses about one game in three. SportLark shows scores, odds and model forecasts for information only. It does not take bets or handle money. If you bet elsewhere, you must be 21+ (or the legal age where you are) and betting must be legal where you live. If gambling stops being fun, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
