Reading MLB odds
The moneyline is who wins. The run line is baseball's spread, almost always 1.5 runs. Totals are the combined runs, usually 7 to 10; the ballpark and the weather matter.
The probable pitchers matter more than anything else in a baseball price, so a late scratch moves the line.
The MLB season
The regular season runs from late March to late September: 162 games per team, then the postseason through October and the World Series.
Forecasts, not promises
A team at 65% still loses about one game in three. SportLark shows scores, odds and model forecasts for information only. It does not take bets or handle money.
